I have a question. It may sound a little stupid but if I went to UT, could I see this in person? It's a really awesome piece. You did a great job on it :)

Yup, you should be able to. It's in their permanent collection, I know they get it out sometimes but it's usually in the storage area in the gallery. You could probably just ask to see the unicorn head and I'm sure they would know what you're talking about :)

Wait so it's not real taxidermy?(I'm not stupid though, I know that if it was it would just be a horse with a falsely attached horn. just so you know <:D) because I was about to throw a Beotch fit XD this is really cool though even though thanks to taxidermy for the first 12 years of my life I thought a jackalope was real (I am now 14 ._.)

No, none of my "taxidermy" is real XD The piece was sculpted with a solid cardboard base, with clay over the top and hair glued on with paint, etc. :)

What are you talking about, Jackalopes ARE real :O

I am breathless. It is difficult for me to believe that this really does have a cardboard base, it's that amazing! How much does the base resemble the finished shapes?

this is fantastic and i am very interested in this kind of work.

for my university course, the art side of things, i am working on a project broardly titled fake taxidermy and this piece really speaks to me.

would you mind answering a few questions on it via the notes system and i return i can do you an A5 drawing of any one of your characters?

I have family in Knoxville..spent a lot of time there. I wondered where you lived for a long time now, your pictures are always placed well. I can so see it being Tennessee now. Maybe you could tell me about where I can go to find some good vegan food for the next time I'm there. Don't know of any restaraunts or anything.
