Unicorn and Phoenix by SovaeArt Unicorn and Phoenix by SovaeArt
A commission. The phoenix is cast in pigmented epoxy resin, unicorn and base are polymer clay with acrylic and the water is clear resin.

Oh, the translucency of the phoenix makes it look lit from within -- amazing!! Your work is all just so incredible -- I've been looking through your gallery, utterly transfixed! <3

I am curious how you pigmented the epoxy resin and achieved the multiple colors?

They finally live in my home now ! :D I can't stop watching them. The colors of the phoenix become more flamboyant with more light. The unicorn has a "cat's eye" effect in her eyes. So the intensity changes depending of where you are. Also her necklace's crystals have moonstone colors. Indigo, if it's your first phoenix, it's a total success ! What was the most difficult part on this piece ?
